Proving a man's innocence should be easier than proving his guilt, right?

Things are going well for private detective, Gavin English, now that everyone in town seems to know his name. He's making good money, people are buying his drinks, and he even has a sexy new receptionist.

But when the Reno Police Department brings him in on a homicide case, Gavin doesn't see things as cut-n-dry as everyone else. While Gavin digs into the case, hoping to find a killer and save an innocent man, his best friend, Police Lieutenant David Reeves, is busily falling in love with a young woman who has a dangerous and blood-stained past.

On the Edge is the second Gavin English Thriller, a dark and suspenseful follow-up to the first in the series, To the Bone.

"This classically hard-boiled detective story mixed with modern urban grit is a fun, suspenseful ride worth taking!" (Tracy Sharp)

Ok. This is the second book in the Gavin English series. And I still don't like him! Although, I love reading his stories! Exciting. Creepy. Mystery. Too much booze. Too much smoking. Too much coffee. Not so much porn since getting his assistant, Kara. She could be a good thing for him. And.......lots of heart, lots of detective smarts. A very fun read!
The narration by Neil Holmes is excellent. He performs Gavin and the others to perfection.

A very fun mystery.
