The sound is of not high quality. Lots of echo.
But the book is great.

Great book, bad reading

Never made it past the first 15 minutes- very disappointing. The reader's voice modulation turned almost to whispers as he was phrasing.

Poor recording quality and he phrasing and enunciation

This book really made me think about how I spend my time. Seneca’s wisdom is simple but powerful—life isn’t actually short, we just waste too much of it on things that don’t matter. It’s like a reminder to stop procrastinating and start living with purpose. If you ever feel like time is slipping away, this book is a must-read. Quick but impactful!

A Wake-Up Call I Needed

This is a great work, fatally flawed by a poor narration riddled with mispronunciation. Do not waste your money on the Audible version, take the time to read Seneca on your own

Horrible narration!

I thought On the Shortness of Life was sometimes thought provoking and an overall interesting look in the life of Seneca's time but not the profound, life-changing book the blubs would have me believe. The views he shared 2,000 years ago have been rehashed over and over by self help folks who I've run across (but mostly tried to avoid) my whole life and most didn't seem new or enlightening at all.

This was a freebie on Audible and thought the narration was rushed and the tone monotonous.

I guess this is just another ancient philosopher whose work has inspired many modern readers but was mostly lost on me.
