There are so many betrayals in this world. Mothers betray their children, fathers betray their children and children betray their parents.
I was betrayed by my mother, father, siblings, and husband. As Christians, we learn about betrayal in the Bible. Joseph was betrayed by his brothers. Above all the betrayals we can read about the greatest of them all was of our LORD Jesus
Christ was betrayed by Judas Iscariot. What we can learn from betrayal is forgiveness. Though it is not easy to forgive if we don’t forgive our LORD Jesus Christ said our heavenly Father will not forgive us.
Without the fear of God, people do wicked things to one another. To kill someone can be justified by giving reasons. Some kill for rituals to gain power, wealth, and fame. The life of the victim is regarded as of lesser value compared to the worldly benefit that the person gets from Satan.
As long as we are in these world we see and hear of betrayals very often. The remedy for betrayal is to forgive.
