A thrilling listen from the No1 and Million Copy Bestseller.

One day, five lives, but whose heart will be broken by nightfall?

It started like any other day in the picturesque village of Weirbridge.

Tress Walker waved her perfect husband Max off to work, with no idea that she was about to go into labour with their first child. And completely unaware that when she tried to track Max down, he wouldn’t be where he was supposed to be.

At the same time, Max’s best friend Noah Clark said goodbye to his wife, Anya, blissfully oblivious that he would soon discover the woman he adored had been lying to him for years.

Living alongside the two couples, their recently widowed friend, Nancy Jenkins, is getting ready to meet Eddie, her first true love at a school reunion.
Will Nancy have the chance to rekindle an old flame, or will she choose to stay by Tress’s side when she needs her most?

One Day with You - two fateful goodbyes, two unexpected hellos, and 24 hours that change everything.

Perfect for the fans of Jojo Moyes, Beth Moran and Debbie Howells.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. However, be prepared to cry. The story was well written, and the characters were likable and relatable. My only issue with the book was the depiction of the elderly characters. As someone who has spent her entire career working with the elderly population, I felt the author’s depiction of 66-year-olds was way off. The narrator’s voice was gravely and frail when portraying those characters. They sounded like they were in their death bed. Today’s average 66-year-old is vibrant, energetic, and trendy. Nothing like the characters in the story. It was almost insulting.
Also, the area is accent was way too heavy to the point where I had trouble understanding some of the words. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and don’t have any problem with the different European accent, but this particular one was a bit much for me.

This book broke my heart and then put it back together and then broke it again. Noah and Tress love them and Max slimy scum and Anya you’re just plain disgusting.
Val and Nancy are amazing friends and we all need a Val & Nancy in our lives.

My first book with this author although the storyline was sad, it brought a morality into the reality.
Consequences are high when you dismiss its dangers. Great read

At the start of the book, I thought I would have lost interest because of the accent. The accent took some getting use to. Once that was done, I found myself continuously desiring to see how the story would unfold. I felt every emotion. possible from the story and from the narrator.

An Addictive Read
