"For many years Debbie's novels have welcomed us home. Now she invites us to come closer to the hearth of our own home and consider what our lives look like when warmed by the graciousness of a giving spirit. Thank you, Debbie, for inviting us draw near as you candidly share your heart with all your faithful readers." (Robin Jones Gunn, best-selling author of the Sisterchicks® novels)

True to form Debbie macomber did an amazing job with this book. I never realized the simple act of giving could be done in so many ways. I've struggled to know how to give to others for some time but now realize that it is a lot easier than I thought. I was over thinking the process of giving and now I know it is much easier than I thought.

Would you consider the audio edition of One Simple Act to be better than the print version?

This is a book I will play over and over.

What did you like best about this story?

I am a huge Debbie Macomber fan (think I have read all her books) and must not have read the description of this one, I thought it was just another one of her fiction books. Was I suprised it is a non-fiction book on a subject that we all should pay attention to...paying it forward.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book for all to read/listen to. The best part of audiobooks is playing it over and over.

Intriguing!

I ordered this book thinking it was a novel. I wanted something positive and easy reading. This author usually provides that. Instead, it’s a non-fiction guide to positive living through generosity. It is very much a Christian point of view. I found it thought provoking, encouraging and engaging. The concepts are basic Christian tenets, well written with suggestions for actions. It’s easy to be discouraged by the world around us. I enjoyed a positive point of view with clear examples of what I can do to make a difference.
