Very kid friendly vocabulary and tone, which I loved, but not something my niece would listen to again. I’m sure it’s great for kids who like British accents, tea, and tarts, which are all included in this story.

The narration volume fluctuates, increasing when something exciting happens, then decreasing back down to the calm, smooth tone of the story. It wasn’t a frighteningly dramatic increase, but my 5 year old niece and I definitely noticed it.

Cute short story, just not feeling it.
