She brought so much warmth and emotion to the story, making it easy to get lost in the holiday spirit. The story itself was sweet and heartwarming, the perfect cozy escape for the Christmas season. It’s one of those quick reads that leaves you feeling warm, fuzzy, and full of cheer.

This was a cute short story about healing. Sam is ready to skip the holiday season due to all the loss and heartache his family has faced through the years. The hits keep coming when he gets the call that his mother is in the hospital. Enters an Angel or a nurse to be more exact named Ally. She helps bring the Christmas spirit back to the family.
Lisa’s narration is perfection as always, she has a way of making the story come to life and showing just the right amount of emotion though the story. Lisa also knows just how to change up her voice to be able to understand when a character is speaking or thinking something.
