I couldn’t stop listening!!!

Wow. I could not put this book down (I only did when I was forced to go to work and/or for wifey duties).

This was a romantic suspense novel that I had noooo idea I needed but so glad I had the chance to read!!!

I actually had so much anxiety during the high stress sections of the books and if that doesn’t speak highly of the authors abilities, I don’t know what does!!! They blew me away!!!!

Gemma & Tyler are reunited YEARS later after tyler gets released from prison (after being falsely convicted) and goes back to his home town in Alabama. What he left behind was a girl who was head over heels for him, but he came back to a woman who was engaged to be married.

The story twisted and turned and I absolutely LOVED IT. The audiobook was great and the voice narrators fit the characters SO WELL. It also gave me fall vibes so it was just all around wonderful!!!!!

Only Him, an Audiobook by Kennedy Fox is the story of Tyler and Gemma. He’s just been released from prison. Gemma is engaged to be married. But, they both secretly had feelings for one another years ago. But, ‘they’ can never be….there are too many things, experiences, and people against them ever getting together

This Audiobook was narrated by Lia Langora and Tor Thom, who blew me away with their performances!! They completely captured the characters!! Their ‘voices’ made it clear who was speaking…there could be no better choices for these character narrations!!

This story captivated my attention!! These two characters gripped my heart and kept me prisoner!!! Unexpected twists and turns had me gasping!! Wonderful story!!! Great writing, fabulous characters, and excellent story line!!!

First time reader/listener of a Kennedy Fox book. Loved the story line. Good all the way through. I recommend this book!!

Second Chance, Small Town, No Cliffs!!

This was previously published as a duet but is now all together in one book with no cliff hanger.

This is the first of a series but it spins off of another series in the Kennedy Fox universe. There are references to Maddy & Liam's story (which I have not read). This one does stand alone and you are given everything you need to enjoy Tyler & Gemma, however I really want to go back and read Maddy & Liam now because it sounds crazy and awesome.

Tyler has just been release from a 5 year stint in prison after being framed for crimes he didn't commit. He is returning to his hometown looking for a fresh start, but the past (read "girl") he left behind 12 years ago is a reminder of all that he can't have.

Gemma has lived in Lawton Ridge all her life. She was in love with Tyler all through high school while writing letters to him when he was in the military. They had a beautiful summer together before Tyler needed to move on and left her behind. She's almost got the life she always dreamed of (fiancee, job working with her dad and friends in the town she loves) but it doesn't feel quite right. Now Tyler's back and she's questioning more than just her wedding planning choices.

As noted, this is the first of a series so we know that some of the characters we meet are seeded for the rest of the series and I am here for it. I can't wait to get the rest of the story on Katie & Noah's history and I'm really invested in getting Everleigh her HEA. Kennedy Fox does interconnected standalones so well. You can pick and choose which ones to read but you will always want to know more about the characters and stories that you get glimpses of.

The audio for this one is repackaged from the duet, like a box set so you can tell where the cliff hanger was, but don't have to deal with the "OMG" of it. You just keep rolling and continue the story. The narration was performed by Lia Langola and Tor Thom. They both have great voices and are fantastic to listen to in the KF world. Lia's performance of Gemma, especially in the emotional extremes of the second half of the story is a joy for my ears. Tor's deep raspy growl is so fun to listen to, particularly when things get heated (wink).

I requested and was provided with a copy of the audiobook. This is my honest opinion.

Great story!

This book was a beautiful story about second chances and fighting for what you want and once I started with the story I couldn't put it down!!

I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a fantastic job representing Tyler and Gemma.

Tyler and Gemma's relationship started as a friendship when Tyler left for the service, Gemma started writing to him. Their friendship blossom into so much more and they had a perfect summer together once Tyler came back to town unfortunately Tyler decided to leave town, making leaving Gemma one of his greatest regrets on life.

Now Years later Tyler is back in town, just being release from prison from a crime he didn't commit and working on Gemma's father garage where he has to see her and be reminded of the relationship and love they once had.

Gemma thinks is living the perfect live with the perfect partner who she is engage to, but when she sees Tyler day after day she is also reminded of the relationship she once had with him and her current perfect life doesn't see so perfect anymore and decisions need to be made but there is a bumpy road ahead with many obstacles that Gemma and Tyler need to face together.

This story was a slow burn romance with suspense, drama but also with friendship, support and love.
