When an undersea robot recovers dog tags and a wedding ring, the Navy engineer who retrieved them makes it his mission to identify the long-ago service member and send them home.

Clutch has always been just as comfortable with robots and computers as with people, but he doesn’t know the first thing about tracking down an unknown service member. Ever the optimist, he knows he can do it. He just needs to figure out how.

Enter Jillian, an archivist with a passion for genealogy. With her organizational skills and her ability to see things as they are, she’ll get things done.

Together, they initiate Operation Christmas Ring, to restore these treasures back to their family in time for Christmas.

Problem number one: those tags are indecipherable.

Problem two: Clutch and Jillian keep distracting each other.

Road trips and record dives and online searches reveal bits and pieces about the ring’s owner, but also about each other. Can they figure out a way to get the ring home for Christmas?

Operation Christmas Ring is a sweet romance about the intersection of past and present, the importance of family, and the love that makes it all worthwhile.
