Serious and funny

The ending came too soon, but this was a wonderful read, what a combination: Catholic, multicultural good humor and outrageously accurate human portraits. The narrator nailed every voice.

Randy Boyagoda’s searing satire of the modern university is not to be missed. This novel has it all- humour, faith, romance, terrorism. It will long be remembered as a snapshot of our age.
