This audio book, Over the Edge, kept me on the edge of my seat. So many twists and turns and very informative about lime disease. Wonderful story and narrator was outstanding. I didn't like the ending but the rest of the story made up for the ending.

Great suspense

I think this just became a favorite! I had read Brandilyn Collins' work before and just forgot how much I liked her style, but god golly Ms. Molly, she did that with this one!! This book was one you don't stop until it's done. #YESITSLIKEThat
Jannie's husband is Dr. Brock McNeil, a researcher and professor and big shot specializing in Lyme disease at Stanford University, and he is about to release his latest findings which will shut the door on any further treatment/diagnosis of chronic Lyme disease...what he says does not exist. However, someone has set out to prove otherwise by purposely infecting Jannie, Dr. McNeil's wife, with this very disease, if he will not recant his findings.
As Jannie's symptoms develop, and the phone calls and taunting of her deranged accuser begin, things spiral out of control too quickly. It's gripping and you're holding your breath in anticipation, you want to jump in and help. You want to strangle Dr. McNeil. You want to hold Jannie and cry with her. You want pummel the bad guy and you desperately want to protect their daughter. What a great book, and to know the author wrote this from experience...I tip my hat to you.

Loved it. I read this a few years ago and lived it then too.

My husband, who recently passed away, had read this a few years ago. His review was: Great story and great ending. For him, the ending was everything. So that is high praise for this book.

Worth reading.

Excellent!

I have a dear friend that didn't find out she had lime until probably a year later. it has been the cause of several other issues. this book helped me to better understand what she goes through.

This book took off a bit too slow for me....almost too detail oriented. Down to "I am putting on my shoes", etc. At times I thought of stopping the listen but I decided I would finish it.

This was my first book by this author. Not sure if I will read more. It just was not a stand out for me.

The narrator had a very thick accent which I think affected her performance. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

I do think the author did her research when it comes to lyme disease and all of the many laboratory tests that can be done and for that I do appreciate the authenticity.

In my opinion this story could have been told in 3/4 the time.

Perhaps the last few chapters were the most interesting.
