Good Plot

3.5 Stars ⭐️ Overruled was fine. The physical part of the romance started in the prologue, which made didn’t help build their chemistry. The character growth was good, and the overall plot was good. I just needed more romantic moments.

Wonderful Audio, Frustrating FMC

As an audiobook this is a fantastic one, the performances are really strong and I think I enjoyed the story more because of this audio than i would have reading it. The FMC had some pretty strong anger issues, and while her fury worked well in court scenes it came off as over the top and a little insane in every day life. She was angry at everyone over everything, but none of it made sense and she held onto it for so long that it was frustrating. If she had more legitimate things to be angry about or if it was toned down a little I think it would have been better, but you do get to see a softer side of her which helps.

Loved the Banter

Enjoyed this story. The narrators were great and had me invested quickly. the steamy scenes were fantastic.

The storyline was good! The spice was too!

Probably one of my favorite reads of the year. Loved the storyline and characters. I love how much the MMC loved the FMC.

Mutual Disdain

Another hit from Lana Ferguson but this time in the court room. Fired up enemies and a little miscommunication.
