USA Today bestselling author, Jane Anthony, delivers an emotionally raw & intense tale of passion, heartache, and love. Sit ringside while Jace Wilder—a bad boy MMA Fighter & Hell's Bend High's biggest bully—dukes it out with Ellie Cartwright—a sheltered good girl with nothing left to lose—on their bumpy road to happily ever after.

Brutal bully. Hotter than hell. MMA God.

Jace Wilder owns Hell's Bend High and everyone in it. Everyone except me that is. The girls love him, the guys want to be him . . . I just want to stay away from him.

But when the death of my mother forces me into the Wilder home, I become his latest target. Only, I can't tell if he wants to torment me or take me to bed.

He may think I'm easy prey, a poor little rich girl down on her luck, but looks can be deceiving. I can give as good as I get, and Jace Wilder will never see me coming.

Contains mature themes.

I really enjoyed the story of Ellie and Jase. Enemies to lovers, touch her and d*e type vibes… my only complaint would be that I wish it was a duet narration. The voice actress has a beautiful and feminine voice but I felt it did not carry over well as a man or a Texas accent. Would definitely read/listen to this author again!

I love a good enemies to lovers!

This was a really cute book that took me back to the days were the FMC chased the MMC with little reward. I found myself super p*ssed throughout most of the book tbh. There’s the traditional kind where yeah, the MMC is mean and even cruel but there is ALWAYS the crazy possessive side too. Jace didn’t really have that…until he did.
I thought the narrator, Rachel Leblang did a pretty good job on both characters. I could surely when she was doing what part.
I felt there was a lot of holes and loose ends but the story still drug me in. So stinkin cute that I wanted more! The messiness of the side characters were the cherry on top.
All in all a lovely story by a new to me author, Jane Anthony. I will definitely be keeping her in my like and fluffy roster because I’m full of feel good vibes and need that break every now and then.

What a cute 3.5 star read
