Best-selling author Staci Hart brings you an addictive romantic mythology series where love is the ultimate game, and Aphrodite always wins.

She's everything I want, and she can never be mine.

I thought my heart was too mangled to love.

I thought my soul was too sullied to touch something so pure.

I thought I knew myself. But the truth is that it's all a lie, and she's the only one who can save me from myself.

But I don't deserve her. And she can never be mine, no matter how much I need her.

With this story you get two stories in one book.
I enjoyed both however one kinda ends on a will be continued, but not a clifhanger per say (there's 3 books to the hearts and arrows series so the Gods will continue with their mischievous plans), still I enjoyed both stories my only issue is I had to relisened to the beginning because you get the names and nicknames thrown at you so I'd recommend to pay especially close attention in the beginning because we get introduced to several characters and a bit of their background.

I would definitely recommend this as a book or audiobook it had funny/angst/love and moments where you get angry at the game they play so this is one I'll be definitely checking out the second book.

I naively expected a solid story about the mythological & the human (like the series by Kamery Solomon), but even after reading over fifty reviews, no one mentioned the outright profanity and utter vugarity in this novel. This is not what I'd expect from a celebrated author, so definitely deleting it from my library & forgetting I wasted my money on this atrocity.
