But she was quite unprepared for the bustle of the modern town which greeted her, for the shadowy rumors and mystery surrounding the old house, or even less for the unexpected turn in relationships between old friends whose lives were all inextricably tied up with the fate of Parson’s House.

Lovely Story; Good Narration

I enjoyed most of all listening to a genuine British lady who just happened to be a daughter of the author

I loved this story - romance and a little humor and no sex, foul language. A perfect combination.

The haunting of Parson’s House - or is it?

This is a heart warming gentle romance written with humor and suspense. It tells the story of reunited school friends who come together to stay in a cottage next to their childhood vacation house.
The author brings in a spooky paranormal note to the mystery revolving around the possible haunting of Parson’s House.
“Boris” and her Great Danes are a very funny addition to the group.
Parson’s House is beautifully narrated by Elizabeth Cadell’s daughter, Janet Cadell Reynolds.
