There is nothing to dislike. The story, world building, and journey is filled with beauty, and intriguing twists. altogether a fun read.

Language

These last few books the author seems to have lost a vocabulary. The gods is used over and over again to express terror, glee, panic, surprise,etc. In the first books such as Fledgling, the characters expressed their feeling with descriptive words. Disappointing.
