Overall good

After listening to this devotional for several months I realized why I was feeling conflicted with certain devotions. As I’ve grown on my salvation walk with the Lord, I realized that as a born again Christian I’m already in His presence completely. I’m sealed with the Holy Spirit therefore I don’t need pathways to His presence because He is with me always. He will never leave me or forsake me. I usually love Charles Stanley books. But the Lord is leading me away from religious rhetoric into a completely graceful freedom that he died to give us. Too many pastors and churches these days don’t fully preach post cross and resurrection in the new covenant. There’s always lingering cliff hangers that keep you constantly questioning your salvation and focused on behavior modification. We are led by the Holy Spirit now and sealed with Him forever. He remains faithful even when we are faithless. I should’ve known by the title…but this is what growth in Christ is. The Pharisees spirit keeps trying to creep in to the new covenant, but the truth will set you free!
