Wonderful!

Wonderfully read. A very delightful story, charming and quite addictive—again I was surprised at the end. On to Book 3!

Much better character development!

Note to Audible: the summary says the man who dies is named Nick Peabody. However, the mans name is Aiden Peabody.

Review: this second book is MUCH better than book 1. The character development really took off & it was enjoyable to be back with the investigative gang. Of all the characters, I would say it centers most around Nelle, who is an older woman. My only qualm is the end.. the mystery of the killer could have been solved without outing a certain character for being a fraud.. I wish she didn't do that. But otherwise she's likable. The narration is great, each character is very identifiable by their voice which is important when you have a lot of characters such as in this book. I look forward to book 3!

Willow is irritating

The story would be just as wonderful as the test of her books, only if Willow wasn't the kind of irritating, obnoxious, entitled yound one she is. The way Nel dotes on this stranger--who broke into Izzy's shop--makes one dislike Nel! Anyways, don't bother, read books 1 and 5 instead.

Another murder in sea harbor

Double mixer for Nell ,Cass,Bertie, and Izzy to solve. Brilliant artist dead. Daughter no one knew he had new in town inherits. Is she the culprit. But hi- another dead body. Local Art dealer and good guy with a a much younger wife. Hmmmm. Let’s let the Thursday night knitting club do what they do best and solve this while eating some delicious sounding food!

Kept my interest, cozy mystery
