Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would and do recommend this series and this book to my friends. Terry writes great space opera and Veronica gives it life through her narration.

What did you like best about this story?

Essentially, this story needed to tie up loose ends at home and clear the decks for what I assume will be epic battles with rebel forces.
Although some points of resistance have been left on the worlds visited and in the court, these seeds could flourish into networks for spies and counter imperial efforts. More plots and story lines.

Which character – as performed by Veronica Giguere – was your favorite?

Veronica still has a lock on the princess in voice and attitude.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't find my self as offended by the bad guys as in book 4. I hope the rebel forces can generate a really hateful opposition for the admiral and royals.

Any additional comments?

Terry keep them coming. You have a lock on this style of story.

By far my favorite Empire of Bones novel so far! This book paid off some of the things I've been looking forward to from book 1, and it delivered in a big way. I was pleased to see some of the secondary and tertiary characters we've seen come closer to the forefront in this book, and just... wow. The ending was awesome!

I am pumped for book 6!
