This audiobook shares calm thoughts about peace and trust in God. It reminds us that peace can live with trouble, not after it ends. The words are gentle and easy to follow. Each part feels like a short pause for the heart.

As I listened, I felt slowed down and more hopeful. The message helped me think about trusting God more each day. It is a good listen for quiet time or before sleep. I found it comforting and steady.

I really enjoyed in the Purity test chapter where Donesa Walker talks about measuring your worth and how “he” measures your worth and how to discern this. I thought the diagnostic testing information was helpful as well, as it helped me realize that so much anxiety comes from the anticipation of what may appear as opposed to what is actually going on in reality. This was really eye-opening in that arena and helped me wake up to that fact a bit. Excited to see what else the author has in store in future releases.

I just finished Peace in Hope: Reflections of God Moments, on audio. This final book in the series landed at exactly the right time. Life's been throwing a lot at us lately with teen drama, work pressure, the usual mid-life juggling and I needed something that didn’t just slap a smiley sticker on the pain but actually spoke to it.
The author doesn’t pretend peace means everything’s easy. She walks you through real, raw moments where hope feels thin and shows how peace can still show up when you remember God’s got the wheel. The reflections are short, honest, and grounded in Scripture without being preachy. I would look at it more like a wise friend sitting with you in the mess than a sermon from the front. I listened to one or two chapters most evenings, and they gave me a steady place to land after long days. One story about trusting God in a season of waiting particularly stuck with me; it helped me breathe easier when things with one of the older kids felt uncertain.
The narrator’s gentle, steady voice is perfect for this kind of listening. It is calm without being sleepy, warm without being over-the-top. It’s the kind of audiobook you can play while winding down or even during a quiet commute, and it leaves you feeling anchored rather than overwhelmed.
If you’re in a hard season and want something that meets you there with real hope and not fake positivity, this is a beautiful, comforting close to the series.
