Peace to the Soul

Peter has lived the last ten years in a children's home but has never come to terms with it, partly because he never knew who he really was. He is bullied in the home by Charlene and bullied at school by Kaye. He shuts himself in his room and plays and studies guitar. The staff are baffled by his behaviour but after Peter makes a clumsy attempt at suicide, the staff realise how great a problem they have on their hands. Peter is sent home from school and idles on the way in a forest where he stumbles upon the proceeds of a crime, unbelievable riches that would enable him to run away and start a band. It is the kindness of Rosie and an unexpected friend that brings him back to reality and gives him happiness.
