Think before you buy books 9-11 AI Narrative

Really liked books 1-8 but when I got book 9 didn’t know the Narrator had changed to an AI or the WORST Narrator EVER. Mechanical Narrator with zero ability. Couldn’t get past chapter 4 because SO distracting to follow story line. Don’t know who decided to break up a winning team but I’ve returned book and will just deal with it. I have to be honest I’m unlikely to buy anymore Russell Blake books because he went along with change!!! Just my opinion and decision.

good series!! great characters!

I really enjoyed the whole series. got a deal and bought the first four books with one credit. love Lucas the main character. gritty guy who gets the job done. bleak picture of our world after a virus kills millions or billions and the world goes to hell. enjoy!!

in God we distrust

Ulysses and Elijah are typical and uninteresting bad guys, except for the anticipation of their final confrontation. Same with Snake. Magnus was far more interesting. The Illuminati is unnerving due to their truly unknown capabilities and willingness to inflict suffering from the shadows and unwillingness to confront their enemies face to face. Good luck good guys/Lucas.
