I recently agreed to foster a pregnant dog, and although I did a ton of research, I had a long drive to go get her so I decided to try this book. I wish I hadn't. There wasn't a single bit of good information if you know anything about dogs or whelping at all. I could've found this same info on YouTube for free. Don't waste an hour of your life with this. From the beginning, they said you have two choices of dogs if you live in an apartment, I nearly turned it off right then because that statement alone is ignorant. But i didn't and many more ignorant statements followed. Any schmoe could've written this with a few wikipedia articles... that's how uneducated it seemed. The narrator wasn't bad tho. This may be the only book I've ever asked for a refund of!

Sorry, but not worth the $2 I got it for
