The Crucified Life devotional paraphrase is and expanded and unbounded translation to help modern audiences engage with much of what Paul did not write but was in the background. The background I am specifically referring to is how Paul explained the Old Testament as pictures of Jesus’s Eternal Spirit, as He always is. There is a huge gap in this area of study in the Bible. Most of the understanding of Jesus from the Old Testament is limited to a handful of predictive prophecies, and usually that which is easily understood from the New Testament authors. Rarely is there any comprehensive attempt to address how the entire volume of every Old Testament scroll is laden with Jesus Pictures just as Jesus said numerous times of Himself in John 5:39 to 40, Luke 24:26 and 46, and the author of Hebrews did in Hebrews 10:7. Even Paul himself said in Romans 11:36 that all things were out from, through, and unto the Lord as a transitional springboard for asking the Roman church to present their many individual bodies as one living sacrifice, and then one body in Christ. And let us not forget how Paul used the allegory word in Galatians 4:24 to address the sanctioned way of Old Testament interpretation. What has been missing is the one key to unlock all.
