Humble

She is tough but gentle and loving to her animals. He is very hot but falls in love with her honesty and wittiness. Her gutsy demeanor makes him very interested in her and as they fall in love they both know each other’s hearts.

Entertaining listen

I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved Mac and Oliver. They have an immediately connection but first impressions don't entirely work in their favor but some of them are quickly worked out. I loved watching these two get to know each other. Oliver falls quickly, Mac too, and with Mac in trouble he can't deny what's going on anymore. She is being framed for things that are all closely related to her job as a pet detective and messing with her reputation. This story had action and intrigue and was entertaining. I really enjoyed this one and how it was tied in to the series. It can be read as a standalone with no issues though.
The narrator did a good job with it as well.
