Review

Narration by Jess Trepanier adds another layer of discomfort in the best way. The performance feels intimate almost confessional which amplifies the psychological tension. The pacing is deliberate, letting every pause stretch just long enough to make you uneasy.

Listening to this in headphones? Even better. The closeness of the narration makes it feel like someone whispering a secret you maybe don’t want to hear.

Short. Disturbing. Effective.

Fast paced, creepy, loved it!

The audiobook released yesterday, and boy am I glad I grabbed a copy! This short gem had about a one hour run time and was fantastic! Fast paced, yet the horror creeps in, and then BAM with the ending.

I love the autism representation in our FMC. The way her neurodivergence presents in the story is very similar to my son. Seeing that represented so clearly spoke to me. 🥹

A fast paced story of greed and trust. This tale of terror was such a fun and interesting read. I loved the twisty tidbit inclusions from the Three Little Pigs fairytale.

I absolutely look forward to more Knightmare Hour stories!
