This course includes Lessons 11-15 from the Japanese Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. Excellent content and lessons, but I need more time to respond

These lessons are excellent. My only complaint is that I wish there was more time for you to think and speak wheb prompted. When I have to remember something that was in an earlier lesson or figure out how to say something new with what I've learned, I really wish I had more time to think.

I usually listen to this at a slower speed so that I can have more time to think. Sometimes I have to pause it because I know that I know the answer, but I need more time to think about it before speaking.


Other than that issue, I absolutely love this program, and I really feel like I'm learning Japanese in a way that will help me actually speak it, rather than just passing a class.

Decent supplement to better methods

I like that they break down the words into chunks to help you understand it more easily. However, he gives you practically no time to think of and say the phrase he asks you to say. It's horrible.
Also there is almost not explanation of Japanese grammar constructions, you mostly repeat without learning. Paul Noble's presentation is much better than this. I recommend that over this.
