Poor narrator

Could not finish, but not because of the story, it was great! The problem was the narrator and her annoying reproduction of the Indian accent in all character's lines. It's not that it is badly performed, but it sounds very fake to hear the narration in American accent and the characters in Indian accent. I would prefer the accents to be all the same (either all American or all Indian). Also, she only seemed to show any emotion in her voice when speaking in Indian accent... So the narration in American accent was very boring and unappealing.

A mature read that should be required

I would recommend this book to an older audience, college age, who has any interest in social justice movements, women or the world.

This was not only an incredible book but an amazing book to listen too.

The only thing that was a bit hard to follow at times was the flashbacks and timeline.
