Take a trip to Hope Cove, where the sun shines, the sea sparkles and falling in love is par for the course!

Single dad Hugh is perfectly content with his life. With an easy-going daughter, a stable job and great friends, he truly believes he has everything he needs.

At least until he meets Allie.

Injury forced Allie out of her dream career as a professional golfer, leaving her utterly lost. To recuperate, she’s spending a few weeks on the picturesque Devon coast, overseeing the golf course her dad owns.

Swept up in a whirlwind romance with Hugh, she starts to think there might be more to life than her lost career. Maybe she can even score a hole in one in the game of love!

But their relationship has barely begun when reality rudely bursts their bubble. Between tumultuous times for Hugh’s daughter, Emmy, and a mystery at the golf club, their fledgling relationship is put to the test.

And when secrets from their respective pasts are revealed, they might just both lose the game.

For a shot at something lasting, they’ll need to find a way out of the rough and get back on course for a happily ever after…

Good story, but why does homosexuality have to be thrown in? If I wanted to listen to homosexual books, that’s what I would look for. If you’re going to write books abt straight couples, just leave it straight. The homosexuality is a turn-off for those of us wanting to hear abt straight couples.

Again, why does homosexuality have to be thrown in?

I’m absolutely adoring this author with her down-to-earth, highly likable characters set within the ambiance of charming English villages. I was a little surprised and initially unhappy with the change in narrator for this series on this book, but I did come to enjoy his narration. And I guess it does make sense to have a male narrator for a book who has a male character as the main or co-main character. I’m hoping the 4th book in the series will be available on Audible soon. In the meantime, I’ve enjoyed The Hope Cove and Single Dads Club series so much, I’m going to start the Loch Lannick series next.

So Enjoyable!
