Stone by stone and brick by brick we are built into God’s likeness. God is working out His plan. Just as in the Old Testament when literal stones served as memorials, the events of our lives serve as memorials of God’s love for us; God’s deliverance, God’s supernatural intervention in the everyday moments of our lives. An event, a person, a lesson learned… Faithfulness, forgiveness, friendship. God says to each of us “…Behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.”
