This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Former Italian Mafia boss, turned vigilante fugitive, Eva Santella - aka the Queen of Spades - owns a training school for assassins in the old country, but her main priority is traveling around the world to help those who cannot help themselves and turn to her as a last resort.

Now, in this eighth book of the series, Eva Santella leaves Sicily to travel to the American south to search for three missing—and pregnant women. The state of Alabama has just outlawed abortion and Eva suspects there might be a connection.

She doesn't know who is behind the disappearances, but is certain that if she doesn't find them, they are going to end up dead.

Author Note: If you are triggered by the subject of abortion or miscarriage I suggest you skip this one. I have another 30+ books you can check out instead. : )

The only thing I didn’t like was the virtual voice “reader” nothing else why do you require 15 word minimum?

Good story. Hate ai voice

Her plots are creative, I love the relationships she has and the new ones and the focus on helping people. I don't like her having these destructive fits years after her family was killed. For a strong woman this shows mental weakness. Also, she tends to get people killed by not protecting them when it's obvious she should.

Creative

The virtual voice reading is THE WORST, but I’m invested in th series so I put up with it.

Great story and characters

Virtual voice is fairly lame. However, if that’s why I get to hear the series, then so be it. Need to teach the AI VV how to say touché & latte.

Eva Santella is KICKING ASS!!
