Any Elissa Altman book is good!

Motherland is still my fave but this one is a close second. The way she weaves her stories around food is masterful.

Loved it

I’ve been wanting to read this book for the longest time! It did not disappoint. This audiobook was like spending a languid afternoon in the company of good friends who you haven’t seen in the longest time. Heartfelt and honest and with good food and stories to comfort.
