London, 1701. On the day Captain Kidd is executed for piracy, young street thieves Johnny and Rake stumble upon a map said to lead to Kidd’s hidden treasure. But they’re not the only ones chasing fortune.

Hunted by a sadistic slave trader and forced aboard a fur trading ship, the boys are soon captured by the notorious pirate Captain Corso. Thrust into a world of cannon-fire, betrayal, and the democratic pirate code, Johnny signs the articles—and sets sail into legend.

Their journey spans the globe—from the alleyways of London to Tangiers, Madagascar, Ayutthaya, and the infamous Port Royal, “The Wickedest City on Earth,” where the treasure—and their fates—await.

Port of Thieves is a brutal, breathtaking, and historically rich pirate epic—part treasure hunt, part survival tale. A visceral love letter to the pirate life and the rebellious souls who lived it.
