The thirteenth season of Powder River brings you sixteen episodes of action, adventure, suspense, high emotion, and tragedy that listeners have come to expect from the long-running audio drama series.

In Season 13, Doc wonders if he is too far behind the times when "The New Doctor" arrives in Clearmont. Esther has a strange visitor at the saloon in "Wade Cody", while Dawes decides it's time to ask Erica to marry him in "A Faded Rose". Meanwhile, Levi fears Britt has been pushed to the edge of his sanity in "That Way Madness Lies.”

Britt’s past comes back to haunt him in the three-part “This Side of Fury” (guest starring Larry Albert from Imagination Theatre), Laurel is not adjusting to domestic bliss, and Esther goes to battle for her saloon in “The Trials of Laurel Wilkins and Esther McCoy.” When the Texas Rangers are unable to pursue the man responsible for the deadly ambush when he crosses into Mexico, Britt takes up the hunt and crosses the Rio Grande in the explosive two-part “MacMasters on the Trail.” These, and more adventures await you along the banks of the mighty Powder River.

It was a long wait but so worth it. New stories, deeper character development and a sagebrush landscape in the imagination made for a satisfying non stop listening experience. Particulary like the expansion of the younger characters story lines . Also like the interplay between Doc and Dawes and learning more of the back story in Ohio.

Just the right tension, action, humor & conflict
