Our enemies (the world, the flesh, and the devil) are ravaging humankind like biological weapons. You hold the antidote: the Word of God. The only challenge is convincing stubborn humans to take the antidote. As a warrior, you will have to use every weapon in your communication arsenal.

We live in a high-definition culture. Video, audio, pictures, and crystal-clear messages flood our eyes, ears, minds, and hearts. Social media, the internet, television, radio, and printed content have the potential for either great good or great evil. So what is high-definition preaching? It is simply this: clearly communicating God's word to transform lives, using every weapon the Lord provides.

God's word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). So why are some preachers able to brandish it like a lightsaber, but others seem to swing it around like a butter knife? Why do some sermons come across like a fuzzy 13-inch black-and-white analog TV (buy it now for $10 at Goodwill), while other sermons come alive like your buddy's new 75-inch Neo QLED, 8K TV (buy it now on Amazon for $1,998)? That's the difference that high-definition preaching makes.

The child of God preaching the Word of God with clarity, empowered by the Spirit of God, will be an effective weapon in this battle for the souls of humankind. It's time to level up and put some new weapons in your communication arsenal. We have to preach in high definition to reach a high-definition culture.
