It all comes out!

I needed this book to complete this series in my mind! This series has taken me through some emotions and a whole lot of action/suspense. Everyone loved Ford and while he'd been through a lot in his life so had Tessa. Tessa was the villain in our mind but actually getting to know her and see her story opens you up to a whole new view.

It ended well.

Pretty Broken Promises is the conclusion in the Pretty Broken Promises duet. I liked this book better than the first. Since I read the Pretty Monsters trilogy, I was able to follow along with the characters storyline. You get lots of twist and turns and angst in this book. I was so glad to see them get their happily ever after.

Michael Joss and Phillipa Miller did a nice job narrating and portraying these characters.

Ford & Tessa

Ford and Tessa's HEA hasn't been easy. After a horrific situation Tessa was forced into, she decides it's time to leave her former life behind. Moving back to Seattle, she finds solace with Bennett. He knows all her secrets and is the only person who has been there for her. When Ford is hurt, Tessa returns to see for herself that he's ok being he's the only man she's ever really loved. When the truth comes out, Ford begs Tessa to give him another chance to right all his wrongs even though she's engaged to Bennett.

Will Tessa choose her one and only true love or the man that comforted her during the darkest part of her life. Story could cause triggers for some, so be cautious.

Pretty Broken Promises

Pretty Broken Promises is the second book in the Pretty Broken Duet. This book is the continuation of Ford and Tessa's story and is told from both of their points of view. This book starts off after book one ends.

There was a big thing that came out in the end of book one. Tessa has been through some rough things. She's having a hard time getting past it. When her friend asks her to marry him she considers it. She knows Ford and herself are bad for each other.

When something happens to Ford, Tessa returns home to see him. Their still have feelings for each other. Ford will show Tessa that he will be there no matter what. They still have to deal with her father, as well as other factors trying to rip them apart.

Can they get past everything that is shoved at them? Will they finally get their happy ending after everything that is thrown at them?

The conclusion of this duet. The narrators did a great job. I enjoyed listening to this once I started i didn't want to stop I liked this one more than the first they acted a bit more mature than the first part. In this one you get all the obstacles they have to face, the consequences to actions, more revelations and truths revealed.
