Valdus Drujec, is a 900 year old vampire an wizard, unique in the paranormal world. He is an officer in the Other World Order and leads a mixed team of shifters, witches and vampires, and a ghost. Their mission to help communities to better foster human and paranormal relations. A deployment that last as long as the community needs their help, which can be decades, His team is highly successful and sent to the worst problem areas.
Currently deployed to the American dessert. A large community that includes reservation lands. They have lot to clean up. Starting with a shifter MC that is trafficking their own. Farel shifter and vampires that have decimated human and shifter communities. Corrupt government officials. -
Quinn is a vibrant human, she runs her parents bar and is a dedicated council woman working for the good of her whole community.
When Quinn and Valdus meet, there is a strong attraction. it does not take long for him to stake his claim and for her to win the hearts of his team and grow their new family by 2. taking in orphan lion cubs.
Quinn is under theat. The OWO is under an attack. Someone is trying to destroy Valdus's team, and is targeting Quinn. he will stop at nothing to protect his pack.

A fun fast paced, with some steam, paranormal romance. Great series, hoping books 2 and 3 will be in audio soon.
