Ahh yes, Prostate Cancer. You’ve heard the term. You probably know what it is. But do you know what happens when they tell you that?

"You’ve got Prostate Cancer."

Having been on the other end of that dreaded conversation with my Urologist, I can tell you that it scared the hell out of me. Cancer? Me?

Because I now know the percentage of men that will have this conversation with their Urologist, which is a considerable number, I’ve decided to document my journey from conversation to sedation. I’ve taken the time to put into words my step-by-step journey from my first visit to the doctor’s office, to the removal of my prostate.

This is not a gloom and doom book; I don’t live in the depths of depression; it is a conversation between you and I pertaining to the weeks before and after my surgery. A look into the myths and realities of dealing with Prostate Cancer. From the sheer number of men who will face this malady, to the financial obligations one will face, I’ve given insight.

I hope that this glimpse into one man’s dance with cancer will help you gain a little peace of mind concerning an ordeal that you, or a loved one, might be facing.
