This was a very good story,very different from the other midlife paranormal fare out there and I liked it except for the virtual voice. I’m glad it was free because I wouldn’t pay to listen to it but I would definitely read it in print/kindle.

I cannot produce a full review as I couldn't bring myself to listen beyond 20 minutes. I know this may be offensive to some people but as a speech, English and grammar Nazi that I am; The AI Virtual voice used for this audible was clearly African American and it made for an excruciating 20 minutes of listening to the speech pattern highly uncomfortable for me to listen to.

I was unable to get a feel for any of the characters due to the linguistic speech pattern which made it all monotone and difficult to enjoy.

My apologies but I simply had to stop listening as it just made me cringe and I removed the book from my library.
