A haunted hotel and a missing briefcase… what could possibly go wrong?

It’s almost Halloween and former chef turned private investigator Guy Vanduex and his partner in crime-solving Sylvia Parker go to the Ghost Inn to experience a haunted attraction. But when a briefcase mysteriously disappears, Vanduex and Parker are enlisted to find it in the eerie hotel.

It seems simple enough, but when footsteps are heard in unoccupied rooms, lights flicker and switch off—and enthusiastic ghost hunters attempt a séance and ghost hunt, things turn from simple to plain old spooky.

Pumpkin Spice is Short and Fun

This story was short cozy mystery. It was a lot of fun. I liked that the PI in this series is an ex-Chef. That is a new take. It has lots of drama. This reminded me of Scooby-Doo and was perfect for the Fall season.
