In the quaint suburban town of Quacksville, the residents had always prided themselves on their picturesque ponds and charming wildlife. Little did they know, lurking beneath the surface of the water was a sinister secret that would soon turn their tranquil lives upside down. It all started innocently enough, with the townsfolk enjoying their Sunday picnics by the pond, tossing breadcrumbs to the ever-enthusiastic flock of ducks. But these weren’t just any ordinary ducks; they were the quacking harbingers of chaos, waiting for the perfect moment to unleash their fowl wrath.

I had an absolute blast listening to Quackers of Doom: The Fowl Resurrection. It’s a wonderfully strange mix of horror and comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously—and that’s what makes it so entertaining. The story had me laughing out loud at times, with its over-the-top humor and ridiculous (but oddly creepy) ducks.

Eric Brown’s narration really takes it to another level. His ability to switch between voices and give each character a distinct personality made the entire experience even more enjoyable. He nails the timing and tone, bringing just the right amount of tension and humor to every scene.

At just over an hour, it’s the perfect quick listen for fans of quirky horror with a sense of humor. It reminded me of those old campy horror stories that make you grin while keeping you slightly unsettled. A short, hilarious, and fowl good time!
