When the angels are evil at worst and prideful bastards at best.

Jeff has flipped the Story of Genesis, but how far it’ll go is yet to be seen. Too much said will spoil the book, but my title explains my viewpoint on the things seen in the book so far. Kate Rudd is awesome as always, so that’s all great overall.

However, my frustration with the story is probably just me. It feels as if the choices made by characters are occurring because the plot needs it to happen.

The book is worth the read, and I intend to get the next book in this series, but by the 2nd book I expect I’ll know where I stand.

Interesting Story

This fantasy novel has many unexpected we turns. The author never disappoints when it comes to the characters and the plot. An excellent book, and I look forward to the sequel.

I absolutely love Jeff Wheeler’s work! I just finished the Invisible College collection and was stunned when I finished it. I want more of this series

Strong Characters

The story was very compelling. i completely enjoyed the chemistry of the characters and the narrator did a good job as usual. I also enjoyed the storyline resembling the Bible. The story was interesting and kept my attention. I will be happy for book 2. Waiting impatiently..

Another Engaging and action packed adventure!

Jeff Wheeler has once again created a wonderful, visual world with magic, creatures, and characters which engage the reader right from the beginning, feeling new, yet familiar and connected to prior Beloved tales. I am excited to follow this series through to its conclusion.
