Jace used to love fishing in the morning. That was until a deer stood up on its back legs and began walking into the mist. Curiosity pushed Jace to investigate the creature, but what will help push him back to life he used to know?

A great book always takes you somewhere. Livingood’s works never fail to do so. I have many of his storied and many of his collections (Frankenstein IT support is amongst my favorites). If you haven’t read/listened to his works than this is a great place to start. Think Alice in wonderland but weirder and more contemporary. The narrator does a great job with the material. Highly recommend. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

Jace is on his way to fish when he notices a deer lift itself to its hind legs and walk like a human, so he follows the creature into a world where animals of all sorts speak and act like humans. But he's now lost and needs help finding his way home, which isn't an easy task. A thoroughly enjoyable fantasy romp.
