RAVEN'S REBEL BRIDE

Lady Maris Warwick of Ravenhill Castle is forced by King John to marry Rafe de Corvine, the knight known as the Raven, who accidentally killed her brother in a joust. She vows not to be a dutiful wife, but her traitorous body knows no such vow and responds in Rafe's arms. Her heart belongs to Rafe's cousin Lord Christopher Paige who leads a secret rebellion against the king. Secrets emerge when she hides Christopher from Rafe and the king's men. When Christopher challenges Rafe, Maris realizes she must choose between them. Will she leave Ravenhill as Christopher's mistress or remain with Rafe as the Raven's bride?

Poor narration doesn't help this

Virtual Voice drags down this somewhat amateurish story, although if I had read it, I might think more highly of it. A good human narrator would have helped. A suggestion to authors using Virtual Voice: choose fairly common names for your characters, as Virtual Voice will pronounce less common names in a number of different ways in the same story. "Maris" was pronounced 5 or 6 different ways, which was annoying and distracted me from the plot.
