Really enjoyed it

I enjoyed this greatly. I recommend it to anyone. Kept me enthralled enough that my 1000 Mike road trip went by in a flash.

Fun mystery with lots of twists and turns!

Loved the second book in the Desert Pines series! There were lots of new characters and so many surprising twists in this one! It was wonderful to meet new people in the town and continue the “will they/won’t they” storyline with Jane and Joe.
The narrator did an amazing job with all the new voices and I enjoyed the unique way she portrayed these new characters. Can’t wait for the third book!!

Five stars for Rapid Death!

Great sequel to the original. It's been fun to follow Jane and Joe on another who did it mystery in Desert Pines. The surprise in Chapter 18, as well as the wrap up / reveal at the end shocked me - didn't see either coming! I'm so delighted that the original narrator returned for book 2 - she really makes this story special. Her voices are so spot on for each character and her range is impressive. Five star narrator, for sure. All in all, it was a fun read, and I'm ready for book 3!
