Ready or Not

When Amanda Maxwell and Anna Sherman arrive in Paris for the Olympics, they discover they've been scammed, and their lodging doesn't exist; there's only an alley where the address should be. And every hotel, pensione, hostel, Airbnb, every room in the city had been booked for months. It's only the kindness of strangers, Whit McLaughlin and his goodhearted sister, that saves the day.

But Dr. Whitney McLaughlin doesn't remain a stranger for long. The only problem is that he lives in Seattle—and Mandy doesn't. Overcoming the distance is just the first of the problems they face.

Great narration of an interesting story

This story leads you through life as it is happened to the well-drawn characters. A great choice of narrator was selected to carry it. I really enjoyed the action from the characters’ experience at the Paris Olympics and how they finally settled as they adjusted to his horrible injuries. I loved the ending…it’s perfect.
