Ruined by poor production

I bought and listened to the other two books in this trilogy, but the production values (echoes, stray sounds) on this recording were just too poor to continue. Add that to the over-the-top Englishness of the actor, I just gave up.

Well written. Often poetic,
But overall, one is left empty. Disappointed. Uncaring. It lacks a soul.
