Occasionally, I’ve investigated places that were darker than others. The atmosphere and general feeling of the site were different from the usual – sinister somehow, palpable enough that it slowly became a suffocating blanket of pure fear. Whispers and footsteps of invisible entities have been heard, and shadows have been seen creeping along the walls or ceilings. Hackles rise, your stomach knots, and cold fingertips of dread slowly creep up your spine.
Things happen all the time – mostly, I don’t mind them – but these particular things I did mind. That’s what this book is about – those spots that bothered me and my friends in some form or other during (and many times after) the event ended.
Step inside this terrifying twisting of time and events in the realm of shadows and prepare to be a little taken off guard, uncomfortable, and maybe more. The spirit world is very real, and some spirits aren’t so nice, so always be aware and stay safe. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it, but then realize too late it’s not exactly what you meant. Don’t open doors you can’t close, or you may end up with attachments of horror for which your nightmares never prepared you.
