I wrote this book, in part, about my younger childhood. The dead bodies in the creek, directly related to my own Uncle finding a dead body in a creek... related to an actual serial killer who really exists.

The aliens? Part of my actual childhood nightmares, and the dino-humanoid, again, from my childhood.

The relationship with a girl who was four years older than me? Some of that's real too. So much of this book was derived from reality, but it dives into fiction quite a bit. Very sci-fi centered with the alien content, and then dips into religion, with God just being another character.

When I was a child I read about about being on a pale horse... you know the one, and I revisited that book as an adult, only to realize, it's not a very good book at all. The reason being? It's old. It reflects a time where so much is unrecognizable and the character personalities are that of what most of us would consider our grandmas and grandpas. It is an old book, so that makes sense.

Regardless, I, inevitably, was influenced by that book in some of the stories in this one. It's more modern, but there are a couple similar characters.

With that all being said, I hope you enjoy this story. It's the more proper, grammatically corrected version of my prior book.

I couldn't afford an editor when I first wrote it, so, I just shot from the hip - but this time around? I think we got it right.
