Magiere the Dhampir was created by a shadowy, long-forgotten enemy of many names - an enemy who the elf Leesil was trained from childhood to kill. They were brought together by the Fay to forge an alliance that might have the power to stand against the forces of dark magics. But as Magiere and Leesil uncover the truth, they discover just how close the enemy has always been...

Drags a little but it shows how the Elves shouldn't be trusted. Love this series because it isn't the "Elves are the greatest". They are seriously flawed.

Where does Rebel Fay rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the best books in the series and I have loved all of them.

What did you like best about this story?

When I saw there was a whole series based on Win as the main character, I thought, really? she is so annoying even as a minor character. In this book, she really emerges to shine as a solid character -- which was certainly purposeful as at the moment I found I now liked Win, a character commented how much she had grown from when she first joined the group

Any additional comments?

Love this narrator. Her style is very easy to listen to so the story is your focus, not the irritating tics or failure to have a consistent pronunciation of names. I even went to look for what else she narrated for shopping ideas

Great story, great narration
